A Service Provided by Marion County Public Schools

The Extended Day Program provides before and after school child care at all elementary schools, Fort McCoy, Howard Middle, and the Hillcrest School. Extended Day is available to any child enrolled at the school for a minimal fee. The Extended Day staff, along with other child care professionals from Marion County Schools and local community agencies, plan and provide for a wide range of activities for all participants. It is our goal to provide accessible, reliable, developmentally appropriate, and inexpensive child care for families in Marion County. Morning care is provided from 6:30a to the beginning of school and afternoon hours begin at school dismissal and children need to be picked up by 6:00p. Extended Day is available on every day of the school year. Registration forms are available from Extended Day Site managers at all participating schools.

Activities include indoor & outdoor play, crafts, homework time, group projects and much more!
