TABE is designed to assess reading, mathematics, language, and spelling skills. All students must take the TABE before entering any Job Preparatory classes.

Orientation October 17, 2005
Classes meet for 12 days (Usually scheduled in December and January)
Monday Through Friday Classes meet evenings from 6 to 10 pm
Saturday and Sunday Classes meet 8 am to 4 pm

Course Fee: $399 includes textbook and all equipment needed

Testing
The testing fee is $80. Adams Marine seminars certificate of passing will be issued upon successful completion of course and test. This certificate is sent to the Coast Guard in exchange for your Captain's License.

Requirements

  • 360 Days experience in boating
  • Attend the course & pass the Test
  • CPR / First Aid Card
  • Drug Test & Physical

Adams Marine seminars certificate of passing will be issued upon successful completion of course and test. This certificate is sent to the Coast Guard along with their fee in exchange for your Captain's License.

 


School Bus Driver Training

Earn your Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and fulfill the Florida Department of Education requirements to drive a school bus.

20 hours of classroom instruction in the evenings and 20 hours of driving instruction on the weekends.

Tuition: $500

Real Estate License (Agent)

This is the required certified course before applying to the Real Estate Commission for licensing as a Real Estate Sales Associate. A combination of real estate practices, principles and real estate law are covered.



Small Gas Engine Mechanics

Save money on repairs. Operation, maintenance and repair of small gas engines will be covered. Two-stroke and four-stroke cycle principles, ignitions systems, carburetion, compression and trouble shooting will be discussed.
