Basket Weaving

Pottery (Level I)

Looking for a new hobby? Learn the basics of becoming a potter. This class is designed for beginners. Learn hand-building techniques including pinch, coil, and slab pottery. An introduction to wheel throwing will also be given with one on one instruction. Instructor: Rohn Hodgin

Learn to make your own lovely works of art. This is a fun class for those interested in different uses of clay. Choose to make one of the instructor's projects or bring in one of your own ideas and let the instructor help you turn it into a work of art.



Sculpture

Two approaches to sculpture will be offered. Realistic sculpture and Whimsical sculpture. A perfect class for beginners and an informative class for those who want to improve their skills. Come join this fun-filled opportunity to learn to sculpt.



Experimental Bookmaking

Learn how to make beautiful journals, sketchbooks or scrapbooks. You will learn how to make handmade books using three different bookbinding stitches. Books can have a hard or soft back cover, the choice is yours. Come and enjoy this opportunity to create a one of a kind book cover using interesting binding techniques. Instructor: Tara Perry



Watercolor for the Beginner

In this class you will learn the basics of water color painting. Learn creative ways to produce different textures using a combination of techniques. Come see how refreshing a class in water color painting can be. Instructor: Susan Krantz



Quilting 101

In this class, you will learn the basics of handling fabric(s); the proper use and care of tools; correct cutting and sewing skills. Quilting terms will be covered as well as how to follow pattern instructions. In addition to making the quilt top, instruction will be provided on how to layer and quilt the finished top and apply the binding for completing your quilt. Instructor: Celeste Vaile

Rug Hooking

Traditional rug hooking covering small primitive pattern from start to finishing techniques for pillow or wall hanging. Kit will be provided. Students need to bring small scissors and small embroidery hoop.
